Garden sheds

Sheds are particularly vulnerable to crime, fit an alarm

A sturdy padlock is defence no.1 , following that, an alarm.

If the shed is near your home a ShedSitter system which buzzes you in your house may be suitable. It enables you to confirm an alarm before calling the police. View article: The ShedSitter project

Further distance means a standard vibration/magnetic alarm would be reasonable (plus a window alarm). Don’t forget noise regulations where the alarm must shut off after a period of time.

Occasionally sheds have telephone links, then an autodialler alarm becomes an option.
