Church Ornaments, candlesticks, crosses etc. are more valuable
than most church wardens realise, Should ideally be locked in the
vestry during the week with a replica on display and just brought
out for services. Where this is not possible e.g. bishop's chair,
paintings or lectern should be simply alarmed to deter any would be
thief but be easy to turn on and off.
