Pete Mitchell has
been riding off road bikes for 15 years. He runs his own bike supplies
and tuning business in Bournemouth.

In April 2000 he bought
an alarm for his Husqvarna 250.
|
This new alarm is called BikeSitter™.
"I simply place it under the seat and then switch it on with a key.
After a few seconds it's set. If anyone should attempt to take my bike
the resultant knock sets the 107dB alarm off "deafening" the potential
thief."
"I use the alarm while the bike is chained in the garage and also
whilst at race meetings. I have so much confidence now that I am
considering not renewing my off-road theft insurance next year." |
" I tested the alarm at 2
am one morning and woke the neighbours - still I know it works. Also I
have had no false alarms and anyway the alarm shuts off after 30 sec
and resets." says Pete...
"This alarm has been
adapted from a product sold to art galleries to protect valuable
exhibits, I've always viewed my bike as a work of art anyway - at
least when its clean ! "
The BikeSitter™
Alarm has been sold to off- road bike owners around the UK. It can be used
on all makes and fits in seconds.
