Watch for Car Crime
In Bristol, one of the neighbourhood watch co-ordinators has been
using CarSitter to protect his car:
"Cars are parked out on the street which is a regular cut through
from the park, we get a car break in every 3 months on average.
I'm sure it's the same people"

"The problem is at 3am if a car
alarm goes off, everyone is too sleepy to respond, and knowing it
will go quiet after a minute or so anyway we go back to sleep and
its probably someone else's car anyway"
"So we have installed CarSitter so if our alarm goes off, the
noise is in our room, we know its our car, we can peep out and confirm
a crime is occurring, phoning 999 from the safety of our bed. The
police will respond quickly if a crime is actually happening and
hopefully catch the b……s".
"Unfortunately we haven't had a break in to our car….yet".
And if we are away, without the car, we can lend the buzzer to a
neighbour".
